Bad habits whispering truths dressed in lies, They don't show me the path,just shadows that rise, In a world so bright, I'm lost in the dark, searching for a spark, but it's hell's cruel mark. Emotions tangle like vine around tree, Praying for redemption,spare this soul of me, These visions corrupt, they're clouding my sight, Walking through a maze, I'm scared of the night. Streets echo regrets, every corner betrayed, The choices I made, like debts i must pay, In battles with myself, I'm searching for peace, But the hunger for approval, it's done ever cease. Time is a thief that sneaks in my mind, Leavin' behind the clarity I used to find, Every step I take pulls me farther away, God help me run back, before it's too late.
