reflection..

I’m right here, a work in progress. I stand here, as my judgement proceeds I hope now, that my statement exceeds The expectations that my family had expected from me. I went to uni to escape the ghetto metrix Had to balance the equation and masters matrix No sound sleep at night, slept on a bed bugs hunted dreams… couldn’t move sleep paralysis. Siblings hustle harder to pay my tuition fees Had to promise, to do my best for sisters please Used to doubt myself, now I’m breakin’ the mold, Every setback a lesson, turnin’ pain into gold. Eyes on the prize, got my story to be told, savage in the shadows, watch my heart unfold. Days get heavy, but I carry the weight, Walkin’ through the fire, I’m just risin’ with fate. No time for the fakes, I just elevate, did my bid to help to their life soft like a caution still haunts me Coundnt do it faster. Caution they say my boy all you need is just patience. mothers voice in my head, that’s serenity Stand tall don’t fall to its gravity Pray and faith in everyone is your insurance. Not everyone has the luck to do it once…📍 Don’t despair when you burn learn from the pain, like the phoenix from ashes you’ll rise aswear.
