[Hook] My poems are not just about me, they’re about you too God gave me a message, and I’m gonna speak the truth Not just my story, not just my view What He puts in my spirit, it was meant for you too [Verse] ©2025 poem by Joy Payne Yes I am a single woman. Who will never have any children. You get mad at me for writing different points of view. Saying the only person I should be writing about it's just me and only me not any of you. All right because I want to give God the glory. I don't have to see just only me and my personal experience as my testimony. Yeah my writing could be about not me but about you instead too. You're getting mad at me for writing not just about me because you think you are manipulate every word that I say and everything that I do. Tell me why you have a lot of wisdom but it's not only about you. All right stories about women who have children and yet I'm single and have none. Tell me since I don't have no experiences about it, I shouldn't be writing about it. Because you tell me my writing should be only about me and only me that's who you want me to show the world and that's all they should see. Why I said God is not just meant for me and meant for everybody's eternity. I write because I'm inspired to send a message. A message of God's love that's in everybody's testimony. So they clearly get mad at me, for being able to see through my own vanity. And write about others experiences doesn't have nothing to do with my own, they think it's pure insanity. They mad they can't manipulate all my words that God gave me is not only about my own personal glory. They see God's wisdom in my poetry. This makes them mad that I write not only about me, myself, and I, just my own story. When God gives you a message it's not only just for you. It's for everyone who has listened ear, and sees everything you do. We are the testimony of God in human form. My form is a woman. I am no man, I'm no prostitute, I have sin, but this is not the end.. God's wants us to share our light, for the world to see. So don't be afraid when I talk about you too, and the poems that I write, was meant not just for me but you. I am happy I got has shown me the way, the truth, and the light.
