Bless Me With. I didn’t set out to make Bless Me With a hit. I set out to tell the truth. Growing up on the east side of Cleveland, 44128, you learn early that blessings don’t just fall in your lap. You pray for them, grind for them, bleed for them, and sometimes you gotta fight the devil just to keep them. Bless Me With came from that space — half prayer, half testimony, all heart. Where It Started I was sitting in my basement studio at 3AM with a beat that wouldn’t let me sleep. Life had been testing me. Lost a few people I thought would be here forever. Bills stacking. Kids looking at me like, “Dad, you got this?” And I did, but I was tired. I remember putting my head down on the desk and saying out loud, “Lord, if you still rocking with me… bless me with the strength to keep going.” That line stuck. I lifted my head, hit record, and what came out wasn’t polished. It was raw. It was me asking for peace, asking for guidance, asking for one more shot. What It Means Bless Me With ain’t a gospel track, and it ain’t a street anthem. It’s both. It’s for anybody who’s ever had to talk to God with dirty hands. The hook — “Bless me with the vision when the road gets dim / Bless me with the courage when I’m outnumbered again” — that’s my life. Cleveland raised me tough, but it didn’t raise me hopeless. #pensoverplugins
