Special Love & Thanks to De’Nesha Re’Nee Douglas Former Co-Owner of Master Connection Records year 2008 DeNesha Douglas Obituary DeNesha "NeNe" Douglas, 22, died on July 10, 2009 at home. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., with a viewing from noon-1 p.m., Friday at God's Greater Holy Temple, 12601 Old Seward Highway. The Rev. Elder Lane will officiate. After the burial, a potluck will be at 3:30 p.m. at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 1560 Abbes Circle, behind Schucks on Muldoon Road. Pallbearers the Douglas, all cousins of NeNe. Denesha was born July 17, 1986 in Anchorage. She loved traveling to Arizona, camping and working in the yard with her mother. She loved to cook and always had her hand up to bring a dish to school. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 2004 and later worked for Assets Inc. at Providence Alaska Medical Center until health problems forced her to resign. She was later diagnosed with lupus and kidney failure. Her greatest joys in life were her two sons, all residing in Anchorage; and many great-uncles and -aunts, cousins, and extended family and loving friends. Denesha was preceded in death by her aunt, great-grandparents; great-uncles; great-aunts; and her great-uncle, . In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a trust account for her two Din and Da’Xavion Smithsons at First National Bank, P.O. Box 200668, Anchorage, AK 99520, account #70527163. Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store. Published by Anchorage Daily News from Jul. 16 to Jul. 17, 2009.
