Found My Way
I am was raised in the dark where the sirens sing, Stained-glass moonlight on a city of sin. Knelt in the alley with my shadow’s breath, Preached to my demons ’bout judgment and death. Cold stone conscience, hear the choir of pain, Every wrong turn carved deep in my name. I spoke to the void, it spoke right back, Said faith ain’t comfort — it’s weight you drag. I walked through the fire with a cross on my back, Not for applause, not to cut no slack. Let the angels watch while the devils yell, I don’t fear the pit — I been living in hell. Thunder in my chest, scripture in my teeth, I don’t beg for mercy, I demand belief. City on my shoulders, blood on the bell, I ring it at midnight — God knows me well. Valley of bones, hear the gospel crack, Every word hit harder when there’s no way back. From the crypt to the dawn, hear the church bells swell, I wasn’t saved gently — I was dragged from hell
