today I want to grow with my wisdom I'm finding out along the way I want to show you my mission it seems like the timing is great and now I want to stroll with you through the dark times got me feeling like I'm finding my place today I'm going to grow because I'm driven I ain't quitting until I lie in the grave hey I try to hold a grip on reality trying not to sleep as I did through my city streets and I take a rip from The vape as I contemplate I'm going to stay keeping safe while I'm moving weight and patiently waiting staying live like a candle flame flickering my light like a switch not working straight reminded of the times in a ditch that I used to skate grinding any place I could find till I landed straight most of my day spent smoking blunt boat and just so I could feel the pain no more standing in the rain like I'm waiting on the boat swimming in the drain as a strain for the rope selling cocaine I was mobbing on the block Tupac just banging out the rules we did that thug life baby it was all about to go out I'm bloody knife waiting on another place to drop dreaming of the ocean mixing up potions track of the track like liquor for my soul got to stay focused watching for the rollers stack after stack I'll be flipping by the store low life living loving that I'm driven a lack of distraction is what got me on the roll staying on a mission made from my wish and scheming on some demons just a stack a little more I pause today and deep thought thinking how can I erase the pain that I caused a smile remains on my face cuz I'm lucky to remain in the grace of my God found the letter that you wrote and remember all the time before when we spoke I miss you now and always and I'm waiting for the day I'm holding you close
