Great

I been holdin’ in this hurt so long it feel like part of me, Smilin’ on the outside, but inside it’s scars and arteries. Lost love, lost friends — I don’t trust nobody now, Every time I opened up, they left me bleedin’ on the ground. I been cryin’ in the dark, but the world don’t ever see it, They just see the diamonds hittin’, not the heart that’s barely beatin’. I’ve been tryna stay strong, but the nights hit different, Talkin’ to myself like, “Bro, why you still livin’?” I done gave my all to people who ain’t give me half back, I done broke myself for love that never came intact. Every promise turned to lies, every hug turned to space, Now I stare at old texts like, “Damn, who was that face?” I been drownin’ in regret, tryna numb it with a vibe, But no party, no bottle ever fix what’s inside. I’m the pain in designer, I’m the hurt in the flex, I look lit from afar, but I’m broken when you inspect. Some nights I pray for peace, other nights I pray for sleep, ’Cause the memories that chase me run way too deep. If the world knew what I carried, they’d crumble at the weight— But I keep pushin’ anyway, guess that’s what makes me great.
