Lost in the shadows, where the silence creeps, Heart heavy like a secret that it never keeps. Staring at the ceiling, thoughts runnin' wild, Life’s a cruel game, yeah, I’m just a child. Ghosts of the past, they whisper my name, Every memory’s a match, and I'm stuck in the flame. Tears in my eyes, yeah, they drown my soul, Searching for a light, but it’s taking a toll. (Verse 2) Counting all the moments, like they’re grains of sand, Time slips away, but I can’t understand. Death’s like a shadow, always lurking near, Fighting with my demons, but they know no fear. Wishing I could fly, break free from this pain, But the weight of the world keeps me chained in the rain. In this lonely battle, I’m just tryna cope, With the echoes of the past, searching for hope.
