- I smile - I smile - I smile - because I know that I'm a kingdom child - I smile - I smile - because I know he gon see me thru this trails - I smile - I smile - I smile - I love Jesus and I say his name proud - it's been awhile , scence i seen a frown on mines - Because He's there when I need Him cause He's is on time - was a time that I was lost but im found - He picked me up and put my feet on solid ground - When I was down people laughed and clowned - When I'm straight they smile upside down - Turn around give yo life to Jesus now - I'm marching on and im kingdom bound - From the darkness to the light he got my life and made it right - Everyday ain't paradise had to use my praise to fight - I was lost in a world running thru a maze at night - His amazing grace all right yes I trust Him with my life - You can't put yo trust in men human beings living shife - He said kind but not nice , nice can stab you with a knife - In the days a revelations people hearts grew cold as ice - But dear Lord keep mine warm during the storm of my life - Be my shield and my buckler keep me safe away from trouble - You already proved yourself to me I promise I don't need another - During my time of need he's been closer than a brother
