I've tried older gamer mics, recording with the beat coming out the phone or another source, and I've tried using earbuds to plug into the phone and let the best play in your ear. that way the sounds is not distorted by the music so close to the phone. I guess it records it internally
ok. I'd say to get better sound quality instead of using a laptop to record or whatever you are using, plug a Razer headset into your phone. this headset has a mic and makes the quality so much better. this isn't the most effective recording quality but it's not very expensive and it works great
