I left schooling in Fiji at the age of 12. I came to Vancouver BC Canada and I graduated grade 7 in 3 months. In grade 8 the first day we did a math exam and I didn't know anything on the paper to be honest. Usually in Fiji what I learned for the year I would forget. The starting of the new year of schooling I always relearned. And I topped my class came 1st. My method was broken in Vancouver BC Canada through the exam and I was put in jump math. Our teacher was the head of the mathematics department. I remember he showed us a math book he had wrote for the university but was rejected. I still give him credit for being that smart. I scored 99% in term 1. 98% in term 2. 99% in term 3. The mistakes I made on all three of our final exams were very silly. We used the calculator not very so often. I understood our teacher his methods. One day he called me to the white board and said Amit(my name) you teach the class. I did a math equation and I solved the math equation on the white board. I taught the class. Our teacher said one day I'll be just like him. Above is my top student certificate. Today Fiji rank 47 in education and Canada rank 11.
