Staring out the car window, Light passing by but all i see is shadows Uh.. Distant illusions coming to light Overthinking mind leads me to thoughts of suicide Especially at night when youre no where in sight I turn my thoughts inward and pray to my guides To please take away all these thoughts of wanting to be unalive. These illusions are blinding my way causing confusion that hurts in many ways Never having a solution To come to a conclusion To stop all the intrusion Just one more day on this earth Another broken heart isn't what I asked for But you've shown me it's the only way to heal from a pain so real. even these demons are scared to approach Depression is coming in tight Hold on for one more night and maybe these illusions will be less confusing and we move on to a different solution. It's almost like my whole life I've been fighting depression with an exception that maybe one day I'll learn my lesson. Like it's a path of rejections one after another. I never even bother to mention all this reflection on oneself that's brought with depression. These illusions are blinding my way It's to time to release the pain Walk in a separate lane No more complaints about how life is hard it's time to grow up and realize you've come this far. Through the darkest nights and brighter days I swear I'll always remain the same. It's time to rewire the brain like Joe dispenza would say. Change your thoughts, change your habits That shit really matters You wanna make a difference Then start being different Let go of the old self and bring in the new. The path of redemption is up to you!
