Lord I’m tired of always messing up All I want to do is follow you but sometimes it’s tough I had enough , and when I think I’m doing so good Here comes temptation coming flooding in my hood I can never overcome sin so I have to run to you Cuz I know you can do things that I can’t do I hold on the the vine When I’m crying I’m not lying Lord I need you all the time This life here is not mine You said your your yoke is easy and your burden light I know things get heavy when I lose sight that your the light Who else knows about this war we go through I don’t think they understand or even have a clue You can’t get right with God by following a bunch of rules It’s all about relationship and the love he has for you Lord I can never do anything on my own Even though I’m grown You keep changing hearts of stone Life’s not a game I’m so grateful you remain the same and never change You take me through the mountains and the plains I’m not playing Now a revival in my heart Set apart From the start Everything God does is a work of art
