Journey? Conquest? what's the difference?
First time participating in competition, thank you for the opportunity and hope you enjoy!! #rapfame I used to think it was just that simple, But it was a simple mind that didn't want to take it seriously A "simpler time" for simpler rhymes but today It eats at me So much I blocked with drugs and so much i sacrificed for a plug Too much knowledge gained but the mind didn't maintain Wisdom lost but can be found But what's the point if there's no real people around I have the truth and all people want is to be tied down In deghted, enslaved, paved and ignored They prefer to be content and losing Maybe they are wounded from broken bones and bruises Fake homes, deceitful words holding up illusions But honestly it's just fear Why wouldn't you be, you rather be comfortable than desirable Choosing to be hidden instead of possible Death bed ridden and it's preferable So warm, truely insatiable, wrapped up in blankets from head to toe Boogyman can't reach, we already know Time for an Alternate to put on a show "Please sit down sit back relax, these guys are the best! So unique and quirky there such a mess Watching them makes me feel better about my own stress But don't stick around, the performers are clowns, and when they come down, it's honestly just frowns all around It's better if they just take shelter until the next spectators come too town Interacting with them just puts a bad taste in my mouth you should probably do the same Even if you got skin in the game Nothing you do will make it change" How many voices need to persuade us from ourselves to realize it only took one to create our own personal hells How many were ignored when you could have helped? How many times did you justify Your deaf ears and closed eyes How long did it take till you preferred it this way than making up for mistakes that you continue to make? Wich time was it that you had enough of it subjugated me to serve your purpose? Your the ring leader of this circus I'm just the ape, the Lion and puppet your my master But these chains are old and rusted I'm building up my strength All the energy that I have saved Now being put on display multiples of me that you will see No specific place driffrent names same face But we have finally come together to pray the voices in my head tell me it's what they crave Devils and angels both make a claim Control of the paths that I make What a silly game, as if I have a role to play Of significance in the grand scheme thangs Ha fight for my soul we will be on our way Creating an album that will out last me Whether you listen or not is all the same it will be there for you to compare to your own fate If knowledge is power, experience the chamber, the bullet is anger And the gun is how I deliver So come hither on this journey together All you gotta do is pull the trigger
