America land of the free home of the brave It celebrates a long history of independence But it still has a long history of hypocrisy Denying us rights Denying us civil rights Taking us in bondage And then we come and to this day our people are fighting each other So let’s get a declaration Let’s write these wrongs And make it right And we will be united Like the United States of America should be But all we get is a hypocrisy Many people are out in the streets homeless Land of the enslaved and home of the scared There’s never been freedom for the blacks the natives the immigrants forced from their land and many people that make up this melting pot So until we see freedom and justice for all Just stop saying we free and equal.
