new beginnings
I was homeless without single dollar to my name/ was drinking myself to death rush and roulette was the game/I was playing I was insane/I didn’t know what heck I was thinking/if I didn’t get sober it would of been the death of me drinking/now that I’m sober I see things more clear/and I no longer have to fucking live in fear/I can finally be present for for family who always stuck by my side/through all of the ups and downs lord knows I took them for a ride/with all the hell I put them through I took them through the ringer/I was a bad alcoholic and stupid fucking tweaker/ but those days are over I found a higher power /after I got stabbed up 9 times by a coward/ almost lost my life but god had different plans/a future free from drugs and alcohol is my new mission man.
