Don't get too religious about it
Don't get too religious about it, my father said to me at 32. I-Ron-ic I shouted! I-Ronald Rodney RICHARDSONS THIRD SON. IRONIC. down to the substance abuse and tonic. but sound advice for the son of the most religious man that I've ever met in my life, not one of those conservative dangerous ideology types but the kind, that'll tell a story and at the start you won't have a shred of Jesus Christ in your heart but by the time he Finish, you can bet there will be some holy spirit doing cart wheels all up in it. your soul might even be forgiven for all the effort you put in racking up that knocking boots, clicking heels converting witches. war locking him in their sights, while he's locking down his bride while wands are backfiring and missin. while he and his misses continue on their way unscathed adorned by the father's riches. you got any doubts I doubt it he'll be the one riding one of the horseman the Rhodesian riding next to Jesus when hes coming down from the clouds and you can be sure he coming any second when you hear that trumpet sound. Wormwood coming to cast us into a long night, but if that's our choice then hey, well that's your right. and like you wish and so desperately fight your father hears your prayers and your loving lord in heaven god Almighty father provides. if you can manage to resuscitate your hope and faith in one another or just in something that gives you butterflies inside to wait. instead of the cave, giving into the madness that dictates my melting brain to hate, if your broken heart is still in big enough pieces to tape. puzzle that bitch back together while it's not too late no time to demonstrate restraint, get something straight. it's not a game, you're not the bait, it's fate, something innate, no need to force it just take it day by day that's great, it's not all for nothing for goodness sake. I call upon my father's father, it's me your boy, I've lost everything except for the guitar, my mom bought me for my 30th birthday and your personal Bible with all your little notes jotted on the sides or underlined addressing things seemingly specifically meant to be the anecdote, prescription meant for me something of a cure all of the doubt and poison thats been at unrest in me can be finally cleaned. take as many as you need a day my boy for the rest of your remaining time until you leave and you'll be free. it's up to you now regulate your gauges, everything that you'll ever need is written in these pages grandpa Lend me the strength, so that grandma might pat me on the shoulder parting wisdom she's collected through the ages saying good Steven while standing besides the two angels that got my back that I'm hoping will one day help me solidify my ever-wavering faith or one day find some joy or at least the words to express the miracles that I see in every living day instead of just the noise and negative things that fill up my cup and fill up my plate. so that I might one day hold my demons at bay that smell that I'm weak and that I'm easy prey and maybe even one day give me reason enough to wanna stay in Jesus' name, we pray. it's no mistake that these are my only two possessions to date. No son of Richard should be burning in a fiery lake. Don't Get too religious about it. Well that Just isn't what grandpa's example say, get too religious about it and too religious about it .is where you're saved
