The system wants to keep us trapped. From dope boy to church boy, on this journey being in and out of prison, I realized that the streets don’t love me, they do not have my best interest at heart. People would rather see you miserable. Misery loves company. Street cred got me nothing in return but heartache, pain and time away from family.
