When I wake up in the morning I feel blessed First thing I do grab my chain Wrap it around my chest So I can feel protected as I start my day before my feet hit the floor I get down and pray And say God can you protect me Cause no telling what may happen and what I might see Out there in this world cause can be kinda crazy with your armor and protection. Nothing will phaze me It just amaze me that from the ground you raised me I’m Sitting above water like I’m riding a jet ski I was at the bottom once and I didn’t have no funds Through it all I stayed in faith and prayed to the holy one That’s God and Jesus as his chosen son Died on that cross for us and all our wrongs Could I make it without you is unlikely When I walk and talk i do it like spike lee When the troubles come I know he’s beside me Cause I know the holy spirits-inside me It’s been a while now. So now I’m back to writin Demons Always trying me so I’m always fighting The way That I look you would think that I’m ok The truth is I’m not but I’m still gonna obey To wash over my all of sins You would need a hurricane ask how many there is way too many to explain that’s because I’m human and that will never change
