better place

if i could have it my way id make the world a better place where we can all escape making dreams come true and lifes a better place going back to when we were kids those were them days playing on the streets until that street light came on knowing wed be in heat if we didnt come home having friends surrounding us and the laughs wed make making memories that the time wouldnt take take me back to when the days were great getting up early watching the cartoons every day having our young minds getting into our escape escape from reality before it was too late our younger selfs being so innocent knowing that life would make a toll before it was too late promising our older selfs we wouldnt smoke or drink or use drugs to get addicted just to escape but now look were we ended we all have an addiction to something that we cant escape so let me go back to when my inner self was free in a reality were happiness was everything and there wasnt any crying just crying over stupid little things
