This one goes out to you momma,, love you momma. Family, got love for ya. Now I know,, it's my time to go,, this poison called life, well the killings slow.. so so pray every day that God will just let me go.. they say he loves me,, but it doesn't show. biggest little city in the world light up my eyes in the middle of the night we say good bye to everything we owned even Christmas and more we had to leavep0 behind. littered on the floors.. February of 98, 6 of us climb 1 by one into the bed of my dad's little izuzu pickup tailgate, camper shelled in we huddle together cause we got no choice plus its cold and late. momma closes and locks the campers window and tells us itll be okay, then she get in the cab riding passenger to dwain. not a word is spoken, everyone just keeps to them selves as we watch the win++×dow like a television on shelf. lit up by the city ARlights of biggest little city in the world, that casino life. circus circus and the Hiltons bright neon signs. even though we were leaving behind something bad, I couldn't help feeling sad more than a sliver, I was also leaving the first hfriend I finally made skipping grades, skipping yards for recess break white water rafting with dad down the truck river. To which we say goodbye in the rear view years as they getting dimmer, those city lights. it was hard but I'm glad after all when you're trying to leave hell behind keep your head forward don't fucking stop for nothing, don't even open your eyes. I k ow that was one yyhardest choices my mother ever made, because it was right. Never again will i have to watch momma getting beat from the nieghbors house she told us to run to in-between her screams. no more broken glass condiments bottles smashed on her head complimenting our meals when we eat. no more hiding under our beds until we fall asleep.
