So I gotta hold on to every little bit a proof of all the hope & belief in everything's my faith. Don't need no map to show me God's direction cause He leads the way. Or worst case? ima follow the happiness on all the children's face. Click the ole heels 3 times just to test my faith. End up discovering that witches is real but Oz ain't even a Place. All the fancy cuisine and the big screen tv can't even wipe the bland off my taste. I start remembering everything id once think id never miss just stuck to my mind like sticky paste. And that's all that's left now is those memories and I hold and hug em hoping the memories that ghost me never fade. If this world is a spiritual war, then im under attacked, (Mayday, Mayday,) the devil's devices fork'n me every single time I play. with distractions to deter my faith, connivingly trying to cun me into forgetting that i forgot to pray. Like the crossroads are the decisions that get us either closer or farther away from that use to scare me blaze. All I do know Jody is that I'm going toward my destiny and The Lord won't let me break. Teaches me the ropes of life even gives me the occasional standing 8. Saying son! If You just lead me Lord, I'll quit listening to the questioning within myself & thoughts a doubting that we even talk & pray. I trust You Lord, You're The Light The Truth The Way. I don't trust me alone tho Lord? So in You I must be able to place all my Faith. Last is my curiosity just wanting to see what You'd say? When I ask Ya why'd You give a gift so special as Faith. If just to see it work so well, sometimes it takes years worth of wait. And sometimes the bearer of the wait only felt the bearing of the weight. And we once future now the brave. Do we really need saved, my soul yearns for it even prays, Life is truth and false, sometimes we move swift, sometimes we fall, 5 o'clock shadows a snip reminder to shave. And theses ole thoughts of my past is turning back to reality as everything is gone, I'm all alone and every memory's dug grave.
