Chicagoland my whole life,
I want people to think about the lyrics and word play & not just hear it being said, if that makes sense to you.
Rap is poetry essentially,
and poetry is meant to make you think or feel
and and some people may like the work,
and other don’t get it or like it at all,
but if you do it right,
it’s magic to the ones that do listen.
