“The spirits always willing but the flesh is weak” Matthew 26:41 Trypto Mayne is a Psychedelic MC from Chester,PA right outside the city of brotherly love. Currently deep into production of his debut solo album “drunk monkey hungry ghost”, planning on being done mixing and mastering by 2nd quarter 2023 and start touring the north east soon after to promote it. deeply intrenched in the underground hip hop scene in the city of brotherly love, he hails from the same basements and record shops that turned out Jedi Mind Tricks and The Roots. Close personal friends with much of its luminaries, his teenage years and twenties were plagued by substance abuse and personal tragedy keeping his artistic output mostly to himself and collaborators. Sober and motivated after taking part in A&Es intervention Trypto now takes that knowledge, inspiration, pain and talent to the world to show every man woman and child just how much a willing spirit can overcome its weak flesh.
