Born in Angola, raised in Portugal, Sulli has been connected to music since he was a child, from Michael Jackson and POP music, Koffi Olomide and Ndombolo music, Rei Hélder and Kuduro music, Jamice and Zouk music, Nélson Freitas and Kizomba music. He found himself sucked into the music world but would later be attracted the most by the Hip Hop Culture, presented to it's core through a child's Tv Show called MixMax at the age of 9 and later on by Portuguese Mc Sam The Kid at the age of 12. After fourteen years struggling to be seen and feeling disconnected to the country, at the age of 26 he decided it was time to move on, rebrand himself and expand his music through other languages.
