My name is Shakeila Baker, stage name Keila Grandz. I am a singer/song writer/rapper/entertainer. I was originally born and raised in Long Beach, CA but have found my way to many states and cities. Since four years old I have been singing, but found a passion for rap at the age of Thirteen. From there on out I have had a hunger for making music. I Started auditioning for famous tv shows, like "The Voice" but unfortunately no feedback. Finally made a scene with ABC Tv Series "Nashville" That there taught me that one no doesn't stop the show, but to keep moving forward consistently. Back in 2010 was when I repeatedly made music in the studio, & performances in Lafayette ,IN Chicago, IL, New York, New York, Gary Indiana & Long Beach, CA . My main collaborations is with Fox Music/ Showtimes Tv Series “The Chi” by Lena Waithe were my song “Watching Da Move” was licensed on S2 Ep9, also working with top known Chicago’s Artist/Producer Sound Master T, who is highly known for his song (To Much Booty In The Pants) who also worked with many artist like R Kelly NE-YO, Omarion, and many more top artist in the game. I have written so many songs and inspired so many people with my music and will continue on a mission to SET A MARK FOR MY GENERATION!
