I am a Mohawk Dutch music artist who started out doing DJ mixes but has since transitioned into rapping and singing in various styles. Music production has always been a passion of mine, as I enjoy making my own beats to accompany my songs. In addition to music, I also have an artistic side and used to enjoy drawing, although I don't have as much time for that hobby nowadays due to my focus on my music career. Music has played a crucial role in my life from a very young age. I have been in the foster care system since I was just two years old, getting passed from home to home and enduring various forms of abuse. The instability and trauma of that upbringing left deep scars. At nine, I was unfortunately adopted by a family that treated me more like a slave than a son. The physical and emotional abuse was relentless. On multiple occasions, I feared for my life as my adopted family threatened me with violence. It was a truly horrifying experience to live in that house of horrors they called home. During those dark times, music became my lifeline. I found solace in creating beats and lyrics, pouring my heart and soul into my craft. Making music gave me an escape from the abuse and allowed me to express my emotions. Animals also provided comfort, as the unconditional love of pets was a rare light in that abusive household. Without those outlets, I'm not sure I would have had the strength to survive that ordeal and continue pursuing my dreams. Music and animals were what kept me going each day and gave me hope that someday I would be free of that toxic environment. Now as a independent artist, I focus on spreading positive messages through my music. My experiences in the foster system and with an abusive adopted family have given me a drive to help others who may be going through similar hardships. If my story can inspire even one person to hold on to hope, then all the struggles were worth it. I will keep using my gift of music as a way to heal from my painful past and uplift others along the journey.
