I am not to be referred to as The Chosen One, for I am not. C.O Chosen One was a suitable name due to many people telling me that my lyrics are often spiritual. I am all about keeping it 💯! Yes, I do rap about situations i may not completely relate too, but i typically feel led to write what I do. Keep in mind as well, like Pac said, I am a story teller. My goal as well is to get people to really think about what I'm rapping about. If I can tell a story, and help someone go somewhere else for a few minutes at a time, then I feel i have done my job. I believe as C.O Chosen One, I have an opportunity to save rap music from the downward spiral it has continued to take through the last many years.... Hence all the nonsense you hear on the radio. I rap about things that have a real meaning to me (homelessness, police brutality, drug addiction, abandonment) etc. It won't take you long to figure that out!
