There’s no reason why anyone should own a billion dollars, yet that list gets smaller, and their wealth increases. Stop and think for a second: if you owned a billion dollars, and 1/3 of Americans make 30k, not to mention that the Top 1% starts around 350k - who could beat you? If there were some people moving up the ranks (a billion doesn’t happen over night) what would you do? Buy them out right? If they wouldn’t sell, you’d leverage their supply-chain, or spread rumors to diminish consumer confidence. When you have a billion dollars, you can do whatever you want to do. You see, my friends, financial economies (the systems) as they’re designed on paper, are done so in such a way as to prevent this. Even Capitalism suffers dearly because of this sinister behavior. There isn’t an “invisible hand” - like you will hear Financial Advisors argue. It’s rigged by the hands of Billionaires.
