We live in a world that's fake, Too many people afraid to create, and the ones who do get their taste and flake, It's all about the fame and the power, people only care about showering in money or climbing the ratings tower, I say what a bunch of cowards, Once in a while you'll get a real artist that works hard and blossoms like a flower, Those are rare cuz most of them barely survive long enough to make an album before they're devoured, Which then only makes the fakes feel empowered, We live in a world that's fake, Industry's built on bombs ready to detonate, dictators hoping you fail so they can say checkmate, you can try your best but you're a dollar short and a day late, if only this was a movie you could do another take, These people i speak of are spreading hate, they're your governors and running mates, Although usually on voting day they're running late, They're Democrats and want you to be dependent and lock you in crates, and if you fight bsck they'll stage your death and hide your body at the bottom of a lake We live in a world that's fake
