Sitting up late with my demons, up late in the night. Reading all of the signs and all of the seasons, yeah I got my own reasons, gotta try so hard just to make it right... Third round, no I ain't gonna go down, gonna turn it around, yeah I gotta put up a fight. It's the same story, just looking for just a bit of God's glory. Waiting to see it all but I am going blind. I'm looking for all of the answers and taking all of my chances. It's a struggle sometimes just to see the light. So Lord I need a sign. Coz it's such a fine line. Yeah it feels like a battle everyday, everyone feels the same way so what can I even say? It's fine coz you're not alone hey, and so it's okay, if you feel this way, yeah it's okay. Here's some real hope for you just for today... It's a love divine. Hey son, yeah there's a different way, but you gotta try it out for yourself, just to get a taste but don't let your life just go to waste... I aim to make my life mine. Not a life to be used or abused, by somebody else. It would be such a disgrace, if you let yourself go now so now just dig a bit deeper down, don't let yourself go and don't let yourself drown. Let yourself be saved coz son yeah you just might be heading for an early grave. But this is the road that we all paved. We all gotta go someday. Gotta try to find some grace, try to find some love and to be loved and pray to the sky above if it helps... run our own race and make it to the finish line. So mind your own mental health coz man, sometimes you just gotta learn to really love yourself... Coz nobody else will sometimes. Learn to change your ways, then set your sights on better days... Soaking up the summer rays. A fool for his foolish ways always pays. Set your sights high, to live and not just to get by, and son learn to really fly. Don't get caught up in the malaise. Try to find better days.
