I started rapping when I was 12 years old. In my hometown on a small stage. With my 50cents chain made of plastic gold. Got the mic and I rocked onstage. I rapped some lyrics that I stole. But it was to reach a higher goal. I had a hard time fitting in at school Don't know what's the reason why They just thought I wasn't cool. It seems that I was the nerdy guy. I was successfull in class keep getting straight A's. I will be laughing last, just wait until it's pay day. I am born in my country and proud of my city Try guess my ethnicity by the color my skin. You got it wrong again, oh that's a pity. To talk about race is a slippery slope Well I got a lot of history, but my future is bright. I never solve my problems with a fight, cause I got story to write. I quit rapping for several years I was studying hard to make a living I thought I would never make this my career I have got the words, but only the money was missing. I was busy trying to get a degree. But working for a boss ain't really working for me. I just want to follow my own path. I follow you Robert Frost. To the end, until I am all out of gas. This is ain't a guess or some coin I tossed This is me saying the past goodbye Cause I took the road less traveled by Yeah my path
