🎵When I woke up today, silly thoughts came my way, will I find the words to say, I really need You in the worst way. I was lost You found a way, You've never led me astray.The many mistakes I've made, through thick & thin you've stayed. When it gets hot, I got shade, some days players get played. Answered all the prayers, I've prayed, saved me when I could've been slayed. I'm just a ball of clay, cuz in Your hands I'm greatly made. 🎵 Nobody said, my life as an SOG, was gonna be easy when everybody sees me, as the enemy that shouldn't be set free, so they try to get the police to sieze me. The reason be, I be chillin with the villians see, the killers of the village living viciously. Not really innocent but not proven guilty, livin in a den of thieves, pretty filthy. It's a pity but when will these people ever see, we need to steal from the rich & greedy just to eat. The rich gotta a whole lotta left over meat, feedin these dogs in the street with treats. My dudes ain't even got shoes on they feet, they lanlords live in luxurious suites. It sounds sweet to someday get a meet & greet and get to sleep in a warm house with heat. They've given me a j.o.b. and then they'd get to beatin, on me & me geez if the work is incomplete and sunrise to sunset, we can never forget, the lives that were taken when breakin a sweat. All slavery, gave me was the will to survive, find a way to escape & try to stay alive. My back got 21 gashes from 21 lashes, wishin this master didn't really hafta, give me whiplash from all of these slashes but I guess he hasta from all of this laughter. Will I ever get to live happily ever after? I cry to my friend Jesus, please close this chapter. Yo'NeXoKiN been givin up to the Savior, He rearranged my frame of thought and behavior. Used to be I never gave a shit about a bitch til the day I got hitched, now I just can't quit spittin til the day me & my kids get rich.
