Anxiety is like the person who's not really your friend, but you've known them all your life, so they're always hanging around. Anxiety is that breath you "JUST" can't take when someone tells you to "just breathe" Like... It ain't that easy man! I want to see my friends... But anxiety won't let me. Anxiety has got me locked up in my own home. My family's all here, but I still feel so alone. Turn down my phone, cuz my anxiety don't wanna be disrupted. Got me feelin a bit like 'Girl Interrupted' Anxiety makes me drive all the way to work, pick up my friends... And then call in... From the parking lot. Anxiety is 1000 thoughts running through your head at all times, but it's a catch-22. Cuz if the insanity wasn't on repeat, I would never remember what to do. And just once thru my head ain't enough, cuz by the time I think it, I've already thought 10 other thoughts. What's that? You've already told me this like 4 or 5 times? That means six squirrels done ran by me and one of them flies. Oh, my bad, that's my ADHD. Sometimes I get it confused with my anxiety. Anxiety always got me soundin all rude. I think I was talking normal until people be like "yo fuck you dude". Oops!!! I don't know how anxiety is for other people, but the way I see it, it's got folks coming to my house lookin like they gon commit suicide. Or maybe they got the feeling that they just want to die inside. Or maybe they feel just like me... When people ask am I okay, is that what they see? Just the thought of it got me on anxiety.
