my name b Je SS e I have yet to be labeled as an MC but I really am a microphone fiend inspired by true artists like tupac and rakim just to name a few I think I think the reason I have yet to earn the term is because I don't have a fancy car or gold teeth a gold chain but I think the art of rap is spreading knowledge the mind is a garden the seeds planyed in it will grow theresuch more to musice and life its ridiculously insane for most of today's songs to only portr nothing but a life of crime into a youth brain instead ofq positivi message growing up I didn't have much guidance so I had to learn everything the hard way throughout School I was very defiant I had a broke home at the time I was unhappy to top it all off my stepfather's would beat me at the age of eight my siblings and I got taken away separated given two different foster care families after about a year my grandmother finally got custody of us I was doing better in school till I got addicted to drugs 11 years old with low self-esteem I started using substances as a crutch I never thought I'd make it very far in life honestly I felt stuck so I got tired of being miserable I realize it's time for me to start living my life flush we're all capable and have it within us we all have a choice to become losers or winners musics an expression of self it affects the mind so I'm rapping for the bigger picture express myself with this art speak real from the heart every night I'm in my trailer kitchen perfecting my skills practicing my raps make a mouthpiece slick uploads quick cut and rhymes ApexI spread thoughts knowledg is game I just lease it with figurative language I'm on a whole nother level just face it monotonous I am not my flows befragrant far from basic I get on the mic spit dope and get them feeling like a bass head express myself with this art can't live without it I speaking from my brain don't doubt it got to get the gab talk real some people call it skill but I call it talent i spit hame from my brain don't doubt it .... written on December 1 by Jesse tovar
