Verse 1: Hong Kong what the fuck happened to you? I used to love this place, please grab me a fucking tissue. Take one good look at the news and all you'll see is violence, You say you're fighting for freedom, but all you do is instill silence. My mum used to tell me how safe Hong Kong was, And if you work hard, pay your dues, everything can be all yours. But with what the fuck's happening to Hong Kong now, I speak my mind and ask the truth, what the fuck how?! I mean, going to school I was told, trickle down economics can help the poor, And if you climb the ladder or own a business you can definitely make more. But as I came of age, I realised all they spew is lies, Education glorifies the rich whilst the poor watches and dies. Concluding that all I can do is get the fuck out, Even though I'm leaving my family and friends behind, I had no doubt. And although moving away seems incredibly sound, I nevertheless realise that it's still my fucking home town.
