I'd rather abuse my meds, then take that shit meth again/ it'll fuck ur life, take everything till there's nothing left, the mental and drug abuse, well there all excuses my friend/ unhealthy coping mechanism in the end, 32 and I've finally realised I was an addict not the type that depend/ just one that thought that drugs where my friend, thrived off the game the chills of the hustle descend/ always swore I was in retirement but sick of being broke and spent, I'll do wat ever it takes to provide and be the man again and again/ fuck ur judgement of a life U know nothing bout, I feel old and spent but won't hesitate to punch you in defence/ my self belief torn again packed full of self doubt, first bars I've wrote since kicking the crystal meth over the fence/ my mental health and state a real fucken mess, I've reached out for help mental health care plan set/ I ain't a preacher but life is one big teacher, lessons I've learnt like fire leaves burns my scars I've earned/
