my darkest day,was one of the prettiest days, I was at work, half day it was Saturday, When I seen a missed call from my aunt , it crossed my mind in a flash that something might a happened, then I got call up front, get to the hospital , Mississippi singing river, your mom's in a bad way, I couldn'tgo without my wife,I stopped on the way ,put the Chevrolet in drive something in me knew you had died, 5 min later got a call from my little brother he had the same feeling come over him , I pulled in to the hospital, I knew right away, by the look on their face, we would never see that smile again, my life came to an end, I tried to pretend that I was strong within , ontil the doctor walked in. Theirs a pain that won't subside, I couldn't let myself cry at the time, then they brought us bedside I was torn everywhere inside, I had to run and get outside, the day that our mother died, ( My darkest day was the most beautiful day, the ride back home was quiet , my wife didn't know what to say, me being me could go good or bad in a hundred different ways. I was filled rage , I wanted to scream and make everyone feel my pain,, but I tucked it away now it's killing me day by day ,what gets me the most , you told us you was dying, I kind of knew the night you ask me to lay down beside you and you told me of the pain you was going through, told how much she loves hers sons , that's the last time I seen you alive , I wish I could of said goodbye,
