let me go back some years, homeless stressed drenched in tears, nothing to eat no roof over my head, freezing wishin I was dead, no family no friend's, what do I do man I want it to end, screamin God please hear my prayers, please dont ignore me are u there? no warmth and no light kept in darkness is what I felt like, felt lost and felt confused, had a girl but lost her too, tell me God what I'm doin wrong, please give me love please keep me strong, while I'm out in this cold world, plz protect me throughout this storm, u wake me up u give me rest, why do i suffer I dont get it, I ain't perfect, yeah I sin, plz forgive me I repent, I need a change in my life keep, why do I feel all this strife, u say be still and know u are God, I'm only human how much longer, then one day I saw a light, it was U shining bright, talking to me to my heart said u loved me from the start, told me not to stress, not to fret, it'll soon be over dont forget it, I love my God, and thats for sure, he took on the sins of this world, wanted to rap about my Lord, not for fame or even for glory, to show my love and give him praise, and jus to thank him for Everything, for dying for me and bein here, for giving me comfort and wiping my tears, he'll soon be back and I can't wait, im ready to leave this hateful place, but until that day I'll jus be patient, I'm long overdue for a perm vacation, no more suffering and no more sorrow, ya never know it could be tomorrow.. yeah, true religion, I'm out..
