#mothersday #proud #rapper #nomumblerap #antirap #spokenword #fire #heat #bmbest #bmgrind #bmfinest #bmrapper welcome to life beat this is chasetheknight enjoying a smoke break working hard to impress cant seam to shake this ear-ache so much confusion for others around me especially you mama you know im brilliant im not even refencing your compliment i remember it started in 2nd or 3rd grade i was at the top of my class in a christian private school school was so easy i used school as social time because there wasnt a concept i couldnt grasp in 20 minutes or less i remember the only thing i focused on was having fun in 3rd grade i attended a private school so small the principal was the 3rd grade teacher way past prime and he would paddle all the bad boys and girls of the school. private school was different they werent state funded so everything was paid for by parents even a permission slip for the principal to lay hands on your son or daughter to give em a tune up i didnt think twice of it i talked everday in his class sat outside most of the school year missed most of 3rd grade math but that didnt bother me i had a highschool level understanding of math sciences and my only trouble was english ironic that its my only language but i still got c's one day teacher had enough of my goofing off i was moments away from the paddle oh dear me wasnt frightened of physical pain it was the emotional pain i wasnt ready for that i would have to no doubt deal with after when the principal called my parents. i remember feeling like i had a spotlight on me that whole year the teacher didnt whoop me but it taught me a lessson that can be interpreted into multiple lessons first being smart can only get you so far if you shut your mouth 2nd they say spare the rod and spoil the child well they were right every year i proved to my teachers i was genius level smart but lazy as a stoner i almost never did homework after the 3rd grade but my test scores showed i knew the lesson like the back of my hand i never cared to have the highest grade but to have the highest test scores is something i craved it made me obsess on how to cheat the test system. by the fifth grade any auditory test our class took i had an advantage because i could hear subtle voice stresses which would indicate the correct corresponding answers in fifth grade i would read at over 200 words per minute with perfect understanding my mind noves faster than busta rhymes but unfortunately my lips only make gibberish in the 6th grade i took a test for gifted and talented kids proving i was genius this further cemented my cocky approach to failing schoop but being the smartest person in the room with a chip on his shoulder thats something to prove cause i wouldn't put in the time and effort in for grades
