we made our choice, they stole our voices, we fell in love with lies they fed us values, fake false morals and we just lapped it up hungry to find something to believe in desperate to have someone to believe in but what happened to thinking for ourselves so ready to give the lead to somebody else misinformation more fiction than fact so ready for change but we're still falling back we read we hear we fear so much apathy we want to change but instead we just watch TV we're more connected but not affected directly so we shed a tear for the news we hear and move on to the next big crazy they say look out for your community but nows its gang warfare with a new face and people say that's the way it's always been but if we carry on they'll be nothing and no one to stop it
