story begins reality rears its ugly head but im taken it on strong rolling with the punches trying to get an education while working full time and overtime's a friend of mine that takes advantage of my free time (but thats ok better times are coming once im done) cant always be fun putting mind and body to the grindstone laying down a foundation for the future generation but right now gotta worry about myself and my mom whose taught me more life lessons then i can count learning from her mistakes so i can pick up the pace the race is already started finish line is looking far with each bar i take a step closer and with each day passby i get closer to reaching the tomorrow i want to see believe its a reality im gonna achieve no matter the sacrafices ive gotta make im not just gonna wait wont be handed to me on a plate using time and sweat to reach the next step tomorrow is an invitation you cant reach without overcoming obstacles while im at it gather around ill turn it into a spectacle for the ladies and gentlemen that sit in awe at my headstrong approach to getting what i want down the road just how it goes take some notes but not for those who float its an upstream swim currents getting worse i feel like i might burst hold my breath till it hurts then keep going cause better times are coming but there taking it slow while i cant wait my ambition tearing away at my head as i think of all the things i want to do down the road today is coming to a close tomorrow ill reach the next goal in the mean time i stay up late thinking about fate and destiny, what it means to me its a better tomorrow just around the corner im here already, waiting on you
