ANOTHER SIDE OF ME   I’ve seen what life can be about And haven’t liked what I have seen So I retreat into the life I live on my own. In the bubble that’s my mind No one can hurt, erase my pride Existing in the cloud that’s life alone.   I know that there’s another side to me Just waiting for the right time To let myself be free Need courage to escape the pain To lift myself above the rain To allow no-one to hurt me this way again   You’ll never know just how I feel The numbness that’s so very real Living with each and every hidden scar Feels like it was just yesterday Won’t go away. Seems here to stay.
