I'm gonna tell you a story my friends, It's about a guy tryna clear his rents, Working his ass off to build a tent, away from all this fuss, he's hell-bent. He wanna run away from all this drama, Dreamin of gettin outta this coma. To a place full of trees and Birds, A place where his screams aren't heard. Hiding away his sorrow, It's just peace that he wanna borrow. He wanna close his eyes and just rest, easin away all of this pain in his chest, He is sick and tired of those lies, he just wanna end em' all of those cries. Seeking shelter and a shadow, running away from Colarado. To a place with a scene and silence, puttin an end to all of this violence. Looking on and on for the love of his life, A woman to cuddle and to be his wife and have his kids, who're playing in the snow. He just wanna kiss them and see them all grow. But dreams always don't come true, he's still stuck up in his bedroom. There's no place where he can just hide, his only option's suicide. As he pulls the gun close to his chin, his conscience says it's a huge sin. Happiness is not in lakes or mountains, you can still be happy as an accountant. He swears not to give up and fight, End of this dark tunnel, he can still see the light.
