Almost-Kiss

There was a moment when we first met, Heaven came down like rain gets wet, I thought how much better can this get, My heart steady pumpin' like dis beat so lit But then it all went all went down like a touchdown reception, I tried to kiss her like a wedding reception, But the Lord withheld me with strong correction, And she said no like a strong rejection Ay, this is the story of my almost-kiss, I reached in for a lil taste of bliss, but she backed off like real real quick, as if to say you can't have dis!! NOPE So I went home & cried like a baby, cuz at that time she didn't wanna be my lady, yeah I got friendzoned & it made me feel crazy, but there was still hope that she'd CALL ME MAYBE 👌🏻 AYY
