my demons are creeping closer and closer days seemingly shorter and shorter I know one day it's gonna be over for me walking around the city feel a feeling I cant seem to forget this dark evil presence lurking in the distance flash backs flooding in fear gripping me can't seem to resist it see it across from me swaying in the wind making sure it's presence is known to me can't escape it even in my dreams that to nightmare hoping I slip up and fall so it take me over and pull me under thought it was over and done with as a kid but I guess it was in slumber waiting for me my demons are creeping closer and closer days seemingly shorter and shorter I know one day it's gonna be over for me losing sanity losing my kids lost my only love I've ever had known drowning in my sorrow I fight to see tomorrow giving me an hour to get home but I blacked out woke up in the middle of the road over my lifeless body trapped forever amongst my demons shouting and and screaming wish I was only dreaming my demons are creeping closer and closer days seemingly shorter and shorter I know one day it's gonna be over for me
