We need more father figures Helping taking care of our mother and sisters We need more men to stand up Quick to help and more to come up teaching my generation how to live life Stop looking for girls and looking for a wife How can we expect to respect our sister and mother if we can respect our women why should she have to suffer So her respect can be hidden This is not my opinion this is a vision It's time we start making the right decision Growing up as a black man and women is difficult Being accused of being guilty when we are innocent I don't see black or white or blue I see me look just like you When we say black power we say it for our independence So why protest our protest it just doesn't make sense This is not a competition It's a mission We don't need permission To get back our position Let's all stand tall and free So my kids and your kids can sleep peacefully Why hate people who fight for this country When you at home worrying about nothing They put us in a place they called the ghetto Then wanna say look at this fellow I miss the good ole days me and my brothers had Now we barely speak it's so sad I can't change the way life is So let's forget about the things we did My Queen is My Queen to me Your Queen should be the same you see Let's all be happy and have a Blessing Week
