love

--- You know, most of the time, life can get overwhelming—far more than you can ever imagine. They say love is beautiful when you have a woman who respects you. They say love is the best thing when you’ve got someone who supports you. But does it really make sense? To me, it does, but in the end, if it truly made sense, then why do we end up with broken hearts? Why do we give our all, only to find nothing in return? Perhaps it's true—maybe we shouldn't be soft. Perhaps we shouldn’t be weak, or show too much affection, because maybe, just maybe, they will use it against us. So then, what is love, really? What are we risking it all for? Is love merely a fleeting illusion, something that dazzles us at first but fades over time? Or is it something deeper, something we keep chasing, hoping it will be different the next time? It makes you wonder if love is a risk worth taking when the cost is often our peace of mind. But we take the gamble, time and time again, as if something within us believes in the hope that it will be different this time. The question remains: is love worth the pain it sometimes brings? My name is Gideon Smith. Get ready for some realistic podcasts, starting from today. ---
