The duos
They say protect and serve, but who they serving? Black bodies droppin', but they ain't ever learning Police on the streets, trigger fingers itching Racism in the system, it's a deadly mission They see my skin and they automatically assume That I'm a threat, just another statistic doomed To be a victim of their violence and hate But I won't back down, I'll stand up and create A movement for change, a revolution in the making No more silence, no more faking We demand justice, we demand peace But all they give us is brutality and grief It's time to rise up, it's time to fight Against the injustice, against the plight Of being black in America, where the system is corrupt But we won't give up, we'll never interrupt Our voices will be heard, our message clear Police and racism, we won't live in fear.
